While some artists try to replicate what they see as directly as possible, others take that same information and abstract their work into completely new creations. In the summer of 2022, a group of artists came together in Maine at the Watershed Ceramic Center out of a common interest in the organically inspired biomorphic form. Each artist in this group had a unique take on the natural world and the observations that they chose to translate into clay.
