Celebrate the summer at the Clifton Cultural Art Center’s FREE, weekly concerts presented by the Louis & Melba Schott Foundation, Fifth Third Bank Trustee. The fifteenth annual Wednesdays in the Woods concert series celebrates art, music, community, and connection at the historic Burnet Woods bandstand! This week's concert features Daglio!
Alberto Daglio is a Salvadoran/American singer/songwriter who rose to prominence with his band Ultravioleta and various other solo projects from 2004-2010. He himself defines himself as a “direct descendant of pop rock that was made in the 80’s and 90’s in Latin America”, son of the MTV Latino era, in fact, some of his greatest influences have always been artists and bands of the caliber of Soda. Stereo, Phobia, The Law, Jorge Drexler.
In June 2021, Daglio becomes a band made up of Steven Combs, Zakk Smed, and Brandon Spradlin, with whom they finish recording the last songs that will be released at the end of the same year. Armed with a mixture of digital sounds, distorted guitars, Latin percussion, and lyrics in English and Spanish, Daglio reinvents himself as a true piece defined as “Electro Pop Rock Retro in Spanish”, creating in turn a world full of energy. where adventure and rhythm have no limit.

The Burnet Woods Bandstand is a picturesque venue with ample parking and allows for a festive atmosphere, including food trucks serving both sweet and savory treats each night, beer for purchase from HighGrain Brewing, and a Kids Art Corner sponsored by The Scripps Howard Fund where children can work on a free project overseen by a certified teaching artist.
