BFMM Meeting RE: FADE2BLACK Film Fest

BFMM Meeting RE: FADE2BLACK Film Fest

Presented by Black Folks Make Movies (BFMM) at Clifton Branch - Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County

IT's TIME!
Calling out all interested in volunteering for the FADE2BLACK Film Festival, a Program of BLACK FOLKS MAKE MOVIES. Premiering Oct. 19-23, 2016, this Cincinnati-based, bi-annual event, celebrates Black American cinema from the beginning (1910) to the Present. And Volunteers are needed to make this happen!
Saturday's meeting is to tap those seriously interested in getting information about the upcoming festival and those interested in making F2B a reality.
Volunteering is not just about growing to screenings for free, it's about putting in the work necessary to help sell tickets at the door or helping filmmakers & attendees get around the festival, venues & the City, or assembling badges/passes, or setting up & tearing down screenings. It's about helping with the program, getting advertising for the program, making attendees feel comfortable as literally ambassadors for the Queen City & F2B, plus much more.
During the meeting we'll go over various volunteer options and what's needed. Some positions are paid, some for class credit & some for networking (you never know who you're gonna meet).
It's time...Join us for this premiere meeting. Help establish Cincinnati's Black American Film Festival!
F2B. There's a lot of work to do!
