Join The Ghostlight Stage Company for this poignant 2-hour workshop led by creator, educator, and community builder, Darnell Pierre Benjamin. This 2-hour event will go beyond “lecture style,” and get you on your feet with interactive exercises and engaging discussions surrounding the topic of anti-racism efforts and how we can apply them in our artistic work.
A 2 hour workshop including:
defining and discussing racism and the four broad types that exist
recognizing the disparity of racial diversity leadership in the arts
self-evaluating and initiating space for personal accountability
engaging in healthy discourse around anti-racism
researching deeper into anti-racism through provided resources
This workshop is part of The Ghostlight Stage Company's Shining a Light Series, which is funded in part by ArtsWave YP Grant.
Ticket buyers can either purchase individual in-person tickets at $15/each or purchase virtual viewing tickets (that are available for 1 week following the event) for only $10.
