Carrying the torch passed down by the progressive bluegrass pioneers, The Seldom Scene, and the fathers of newgrass music, Newgrass Revival, Leftover Salmon are true architects of the contemporary jamgrass scene, inspiring the careers of a generation of artists including Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band. Over the course of their 30+ year run, the band has explored a variety of ‘grass hybrids, creating their own musical culture and earning legions of fans in the process.

Based out of Denver, CO, Clay Street Unit is rooted deep in homegrown southern country and folk that branches into the bluegrass sound that’s heard throughout the Appalachian hills. Forming in early 2021, the band recently released their first EP in the fall of 2022 and just recorded their first full length album set to be released this year. Clay Street Unit is working on developing and pushing their own unique sound, with a high energy, fresh take on the tradition of American folk and country music that is sure to keep you moving.
