Art in the Park

Presented by ArtsWave at Great American Ball Park

ArtsWave and the Cincinnati Reds are teaming up again this spring for the fifth annual “Art in the Park” day, a celebration of the arts, on Sunday, May 22. Fans can experience music, dance, theater and hands-on art activities in the Kroger Fan Zone for 90 minutes before the 1:10 p.m. game against the Seattle Mariners.

Performers taking part in “Art in the Park” include Melodic Connections, Tracy Walker, Justin McCombs and Jeremy Dublin of Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Madcap Puppets, Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Bachanal Steel Drum Band and the Cincinnati Highland Dancers.

In addition, the Clifton Cultural Arts Center will have the “Dance and Dash” booth created by Mam-Luft Dance Co. The winning group from CincySings, P&G’s Voices of Destiny, will sing the National Anthem before the game and the Cincinnati Men’s Chorus will sing at the seventh inning stretch.

ArtsWave 2016 Campaign Co-chair Awadagin Pratt will throw out the first pitch.

The Cincinnati Reds are offering a special discount on tickets to the “Art in the Park” game at www.reds.com/artinthepark.
