Opening Reception of “Schools for the City” exhibition at Clifton Cultural Arts Center on Friday, July 8th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, presented by The Art League of Cincinnati
Please join The Art League for the opening reception of our Schools for the City exhibition at Clifton Cultural Arts Center on Friday, July 8th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
This exhibit will trace the history of Cincinnati's public elementary school architecture from the founding of the public schools in 1829 through World War II and highlight the ways the design and placement of schools buildings can illustrate broader trends in Cincinnati's history. The exhibition will also offer visitors an opportunity to share their own memories from elementary school on a comment wall that will become a permanent part of the exhibit.
You can learn more by liking the exhibit on our facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/schoolsforthecity/
