IRL Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Cincinnati, OH, aimed at blurring the experience between viewing art in real life and seeing documentation online. We curate exhibitions with equal importance placed on viewers’ experiences in our storefront gallery and those accessing shows on a screen. Through the use of both virtual and physical gallery spaces, we allow artists to explore the terrain between the digital and the physical, resulting in new forms of experimentation with the display of art, while challenging the parameters of the exhibition space.
