Garfield Theatre

Cincinnati’s only downtown movie theatre! The Garfield Theatre was renovated and operated by Cincinnati World Cinema – an all-volunteer group founded in 2002 that cares deeply about cinema as an art form. At the Garfield, the focus is on high-quality documentaries, shorts, narrative fiction, foreign language titles, and specialty programs including festivals and classics – primarily films that normally bypass Cincinnati.

Our large screen, high-definition projection and sound system compliment an intimate, comfy space with 163 seats. Uses for the Garfield include event hosting for area filmmakers and festivals, community groups, public forums and occasional live performances.
