Gallery Talk - Brianna Gluszak: Late Bloomer
Please join us for an informal and informative Gallery Talk with exhibiting artist Brianna Gluszak.
In their work, Brianna Gluszak (Columbus, OH) utilizes various playful motifs, gendered forms, materials, and captivating color. They often exploit the hard-edged masculine architecture and the phallus form to transform the assumed gender of an object or space through the transition and translation of color. Through glassmaking, textiles, and installation, Gluszak blurs the distinctions created between feminine and masculine ideals.
The exhibition runs January 20-March 3, 2024.
The Weston’s annual Gallery Talk Series of public lectures and informal talks provides a rare opportunity for the public to meet the presenting artists and enjoy the ensuing dialogue. Every Gallery Talk provides a unique insight into the passion, curiosity, materials, and creative process of each artist and their discipline. All talks are FREE and open to the public.
