American Composers in the Spotlight for CCO December Concert

The Cincinnati Community Orchestra presents its second concert of the season, American Composers in the Spotlight, December 4, 2021 at 7:30 PM.

The Cincinnati Community Orchestra will present a program of works by American composers at its next concert, Saturday, December 4 at 7:30 PM. The program features Edward MacDowell’s Second Piano Concerto with soloist Michelle Conda, CCM piano professor and long-time friend of the orchestra. Rounding out the program are the rousing Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams, and Florence Price’s buoyant Dances from the Canebrakes, the final work of this distinguished Black composer. The CCO performs at Church of the Savior United Methodist, 8005 Pfeiffer Rd. Concert and parking are free.  For the health and safety of the musicians and listeners, audience members will be required to wear masks in the concert space.
