Learn to use creative writing and visual art to make an impact and build community! Explore how lyricists dive deep into important subject matters by analyzing the lyrics to their most meaningful songs. Hone your own artistic voice on subjects that matter to you through experimentation with classic, contemporary, and spoken word poetry styles, and explore how visual art practices such as photography & poster-making can influence change!
All participants are asked to complete and submit an Emergency Contact form and Media Release.

Tuition: $190 or sliding scale
Sliding Scale Tuition Rates: Kennedy Heights Arts Center strives to make the arts accessible to everyone. Sliding scale tuition rates are available and range from 10%-65% of the full tuition based on household income. Click here to download an application. CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another course if the student withdraws at least five days prior to the beginning of the course.
