Featuring “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on Friday, September 18, 6:30 p.m.
COVINGTON, KY – Mischievous fairies, mixed-up lovers and a troupe of fumbling amateur actors who have to perform a play at a duke’s wedding . . . they are all part of William Shakespeare’s playful comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to be performed by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company at Behringer-Crawford Museum on September 18.
Shakespeare@BCM, presented in memory of Margaret and Frank Linhardt, will take place in the museum’s outdoor amphitheater in Devou Park at 6:30 p.m., with proceeds benefitting the museum’s youth education programs. For tickets, call 859-727-3935.
Admission is $10 per person. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is limited to 50 people. Tickets not sold in advance may be purchased at the door, but guests are advised to call in advance to check on availability.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with water and soft drinks available for purchase. Facial coverings are required and attendees should bring their own hand sanitizer and folding chairs or blankets for seating, which will follow social distancing guidelines. Masks will be provided for a small donation for those who do not have them.
