You are invited you to a prestigious evening celebrating art and its enduring influence on our community.
On May 9th the Cincinnati Art Club will honor two past presidents, Roger Heuck (1995-1998) and Kay Worz (2008-2010). The honorees have devoted decades to visual art in the region by creating, collecting, teaching, administrating, and promoting art.
The Art for a Lifetime celebration will include a historic exhibition of the Clubs past presidents’ artworks, and other significant Cincinnati artists from the past 133 years. Eight carefully chosen Cincinnati Art Club artists who have also dedicated their lives to art and continue to inspire with their creations will have their work auctioned to the highest bidder. Artists: Brian Burt, Ursula Brenner, Ray Hassard, MaryBeth Karaus, Gail Morrison, David Mueller, Tom Post, and Jens Rosenkrantz, Jr.
The Cincinnati Art Club was established in 1890 and continues to build participation in, and appreciation for, fine arts across the region. The May 9th Cincinnati Art Club’s celebration and the past president’s exhibition will all take place at Cincinnati Art Galleries at 225 E. 6th Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45202. The evening begins by awarding two past Cincinnati Art Club presidents, Roger Heuck and Kay Worz for their lifetime of creating, collecting, teaching, governing, and promoting art in the community. Afterwards a Live Art Auction will ensue of stunning artwork from eight CAC artists who have also dedicated their lives to making beautiful art. The gallery will be filled with an historic exhibition of CAC past presidents and other Cincinnati prestigious artists from the past 133 years.
