Come join us for a mind-blowing, Free Art Demo, where you’ll get the chance to learn from an artist represented in the White House Archives.
Cincinnati Art Club is happy to offer a free Sunday Afternoon painting demonstration. This will be an exciting in-person event where you can learn from a renowned artist whose portrait works can be found in the permanent archives of the White House. This is a unique opportunity to witness the creative process first-hand and gain valuable insights from Shalmah Prince, and how she creates unique portraits! As you watch the canvas come alive, listen to this true master talk of her experiences. Come away with some new ideas for your own life as an artist! Enjoy light refreshments throughout this event. Have an opportunity to view and/or purchase originals and giclée prints.
Shalmah studied at the CAM Art Academy, the Gebhardt Art School, The Maryland School of Art and Design, the ACU (BFA) and the Art Student League and studied under the late Daniel E. Greene. She won prizes in national juried exhibition and her work is in many private collections.
The Portrait Demonstration takes place at the Cincinnati Art Club’s Wessel Gallery, in Mt. Adams, 1021 Parkside Place, Cincinnati, Ohio, near Eden Park.
