Celebrate Black Poetry Day!

Please join the Library for an evening of Poetry and Spoken Word Art by local Black Artists at The Jester Bar & Cigar Patio. We’ll enjoy performances by featured poets, followed by opening the floor to anyone who would like to share. Black Poetry Day honors the birthday of Jupiter Hammon, the first African American to have poetry published in the United States.
