The Westheimer Gallery at the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center opens its 2023 Gallery Season with Painter Christopher Taulbee’s “A Sense of Spring.”
We are pleased to kick off the 2023 Westheimer Gallery season with Christopher Taulbee’s solo exhibition A Sense of Spring, February 3-25!
Join us for the opening reception on FIRST FRIDAY February 3 from 5:30-7:30pm.
The Westheimer Gallery is free and open to the public.
A Sense of Spring runs Feb 3-25, open Thursdays and Fridays 3-7pm, Saturdays 10am – 2pm, or by appointment.
CHRISTOPHER TAULBEE is a Cincinnati artist working in ceramics and oil painting. Since earning a BFA from UC’s DAAP program in 2017, Chris has been making, exhibiting and teaching art locally. In 2017 he founded Taul Arts Studio, offering commissioned art services, private art instruction and art direction. Chris has worked both locally and nationally for companies to create signage, print media, web content , murals, logos and more! He can be found around Cincinnati’s many parks en plain air painting, and also creates larger-than-life oil paintings of flowers that he refers to as portraits. Taking inspiration from interactions within nature, Chris hopes to capture and encourage a deeper sense of connection with the symbiotic essence of the world around us. Using large scale oil painting, scenes of the world are brought into the gallery space and enlarged to a proportion that mesmerizes audiences.

PARKING: Parking is available in the SCAC lot at the corner of Reading Rd and Walnut St, on our building's south side. Additional free public parking is available in City of Sharonville lots, located around the corner on Walnut behind Cliff Hardware, as well as behind PNC Bank at Reading Rd and Creek Rd.
DIRECTIONS: From I-275: Take exit 46 to Lebanon Rd (US-42). Head south on US 42. Stay to the right on Reading Road. Turn right at Walnut Street.
From I-75: Take exit 15 to head east on Sharon Road. Follow to the left onto Main Street (one-way). Turn left on Walnut Street.
