You’ll learn to draw by observing real objects and exercise the hand, mind and heart.
Drawing is one of the oldest forms of visual art – think of the caves! – and yet it is also an immediate and vital form of communication today. In this class, students ages 16+ will learn to draw by observing real objects. By exercising hand, mind, and heart, we’ll also focus on the healing potential of drawing, which engages the “right side” of the brain. For additional inspiration, we’ll study examples of drawings and other art forms throughout history. Main requirement: open-mindedness!
