TOPIC: Georgia O’Keeffe, Photographer
During this Evenings for Educators, Nathaniel M. Stein, Curator of Photography, will present on the exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe, Photographer. This exhibition illuminates O’Keeffe’s use of the camera to further her modernist vision, showing how she embraced photography as a unique artistic practice and took ownership of her relationship with the medium. Over 100 photographs are displayed together with a complementary selection of paintings and drawings. Enjoy dinner, networking, and a docent guided tour. For each program attended you can earn CEU’s and 1-2 graduate credits for an additional fee to Ashland University.
About Evenings for Educators:
Evenings for Educators is the Cincinnati Art Museum’s monthly teacher professional development program. Through the lens of the Cincinnati Art Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions, Evenings for Educators supports all subjects taught in the classroom.
We encourage a STREAM approach as well as 21st Century Learning strategies in the museum and classroom. This program is offered for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines, art appreciation volunteers, pre-service education majors, teaching artists as well as community and museum educators.
$10 Members; $20 General Registration; $5 College Student

Parking: FREE. Bike Racks are available outside the Main Entrance of the Art Museum. Hook up to one of our Marcel Duchamp-inspired racks during your visit! Accessible Parking is available in our north parking lot, just past the main visitor parking lot and entrance. Wheelchair + Stroller Entry is available via our DeWitt Entrance, on the east side of the museum, near the accessible parking. Access to the Mary R. Schiff Library + Archives is available via our Castellini Foundation Entrance, just to the right of the main entrance on the west side of the building.
