The Friends of Music Hall brings back the beloved “Happy Holidays” concert featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ in the hall’s beautiful ballroom with a joyful holiday program.
Happy Holidays with the Mighty Wurlitzer, a joyous celebration of the holiday season presented by the Friends of Music Hall and Bahl & Gaynor, Investment Council. Hosted by Cincinnati Opera’s Harry T. Wilks Artistic Director Evans Mirageas, the program will feature renowned theater organist Jelani Eddington with vocal performances by soprano Victoria Okafor and tenor Avery Bargasse, both featured recently with Cincinnati Opera. The program will be further enhanced by dancers from the Otto M. Budig Cincinnati Ballet Academy and choral performances by Kenny Smith’s Peace & Serenity Choir. Artwork commissioned by Annie Ruth will become a community engagement piece prior to the concert and will be revealed by her patrons Tarita Preston and Chris Powell on December 10.

Your participation and understanding is greatly appreciated. In cooperation with the Cincinnati Arts Association, which manages Music Hall, Friends of Music Hall has implemented layers of defense against COVID-19, including the Health and Safety Guidelines listed below. Due to the high levels of COVID -19 transmission in Hamilton County, Ohio, and the surrounding area, the following protocols are effective beginning October 1, 2021, until further notice. For Inside Music Hall: Guests, staff and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times inside Cincinnati Music Hall, regardless of vaccination status. - Face masks must cover the nose and mouth. - Bring your own mask and wear it as you enter the building. - Single-use masks will be available, if needed.
