Ink Your Love
Join ArtWorks as we dish up an evening of Art, Food and Celebration at the final exclamation of ArtWorks CincyInk. We’ve already inked our Love for Cincinnati on 263 bodies and 54 larger-than-life urban and mini art installations. Now it’s time to have one last bash to celebrate our love for Cincinnati and dish out the best our beloved Queen City has to offer. This will be an evening of love, celebrating local art, cuisine from Cincinnati’s best local chefs, Cincinnati-love themed interactive experiences, and the video premier featuring the poem, Seven Hills and a Queen to Name Them.
The evening will kick off with Lexington’s famous March Madness Marching Band and will continue with the premiere of the Cincinnati Tattoo Project video by award-winning artists Kurt and Kremena, with words crafted by Chase Public and music composed by Ben Sloan. Guests can dance to the amazing sounds of Fresh Funk and imbibe in Molly Wellmann’s CincyInk Cocktail and delicious food prepared by Cincy Chefs.
Caters and restaurants include: Madisono’s Gelato, Jeff Thomas Catering, Bakersfield OTR, People’s Republic of Popcorn, The Rookwood, Taft’s Ale House, The Kitchen at Findlay Market, Fryed, D. ArtWorks CincyInk is a city wide celebration of love for Cincinnati, manifesting in a poem, tattoos, and public art.
Inspired by The Cincinnati Tattoo Project, and the vision of artists Kurt Gohde and Kremena Todorova, CincyInk is at its core an exaltation of love for Cincinnati.
Words of love for Cincinnati were directly sourced from the voices of over 1,000 participants and crafted into the poem, "Seven Hills and a Queen to Name Them."
This artistic endeavor permanently inked the words of our Cincinnati love poem across 263 people and all who call Cincinnati home.
