A Tribute to an American Musical Theater Icon — Stephen Sondheim
Broadway composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim followed in the steps of his mentor Oscar Hammerstein to rank among the greatest in the history of American Theater. Join the KSO for an evening of Sondheim hit songs from Company, Sweeney Todd, Westside Story, Into the Woods, etc. with musings by actress, friend and Sondheim protogé Pamela Myers.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Picnics welcome. Concessions will be available. Parking is free but limited.
A TANK Shuttle Bus will depart every half hour from Covington Catholic High School on Dixie Highway starting at 6 p.m through 7:30 p.m., for $1 each way. Chairs and coolers are allowed on buses. At the end of the program, shuttle buses await to return immediately to the CCHS parking lot.
There is no admission charge for this concert. However, we encourage and appreciate contributions. Your generosity keeps the music playing!
