Lune Noire: A YPCC Concert
Enjoy nighttime harmonies from the last century performed by the Young Professionals Choral Collective and Queen City Cabaret.
As the pale moon shines down, join us for a look at what can happen during the darkest night. From sultry jazz rhythms and midnight dreams to the promise of morning daybreak, YPCC and Queen City Cabaret explore the varying facets of darkness. Join us at historic Memorial Hall as we sing through the many moods of night time:
Lune Noire’s repertoire includes night time harmonies from the last century. Audience members will be transported to classic nightclubs with familiar tunes including ‘Sing, Sing, Sing’ and ‘Moon River.’ The dream world will emerge with Rhineberger’s lullaby, Abendlied, and calls to dream of more with ‘Dream a Little Dream’ and U2’s reflective ‘MLK.’ With the uplifting melodies of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow,’ ‘Beginning to See the Light,’ and ‘Unclouded Day,’ woven throughout the evening, audience members will experience the light that shatters darkness.
Visit the Memorial Hall website to learn more about the evening’s program and to buy tickets.
Lune Noire is presented by YPCC’s Cycle Sponsor, Montgomery Animal Hospital.
