Explore an experimental art installation located at the Welcome To Jaffa Mural during BLINK weekend!
Created for Local Illuminations and funded by Artswave, Cincinnati Artists, Noel Maghathe and Sydney Rains collaborate to create a 20-foot-long light and art installation titled, Mitosis to walk through and engage with while viewing Welcome to Jaffa, a mural of the famed Palestinian Jaffa Oranges, in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Jason Yacoub Khaled Al Ghussein. Mitosis highlights a joyful and playful Palestinian experience, the separation of pain and resistance. How can we continue educating on the Palestinian experience while embracing our joy?
There will be light projections on the mural self-funded by Al Ghussein and other activities to enjoy throughout the weekend.
