Turning 35 is hard enough without everyone asking why you’re still single and when you’re having kids. Aging uterus Facetious Jones has had enough. After years of empty and FED UP with a purposeless existence, Facetious hatches a plan. A solo play that explores the expectations placed on women’s bodies.

Producer Biography
Lormarev Jones is a theatre artist and educator who currently commutes throughout the South and the Midwest. Lormarev directs and choreographs for musical theatre and plays; she teaches young people how to foster their own creative voices. She writes solos because the typical roles for black women in theatre just aren’t enough. Christopher Wood designs buildings, plays contra dances, and composes music. Jim Steinman is his hero.
