The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival — organized by LADD (Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled) — is the nation’s first diversity film festival led by people from the disability community. The Over-The-Rhine neighborhood is a historic district where people from diverse backgrounds gather to shop, see art and find community in downtown Cincinnati. Recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of The 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World for 2022, The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival brings together stories that celebrate differences and honor shared humanity. Using cinema as a tool to build empathy, The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival hopes to create experiences for filmmakers and audiences that expand beyond the screen into the outside world and into real human relationships. The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival hopes you will join the event in person and online for top-notch films from some of the world’s most unique storytellers.
