Boo Haman, You Are One Bad Dude, 2022
Visit the Weston Art Gallery to experience Pam Kravetz’s latest multimedia installation.
Kravetz’s (Cincinnati, OH) selective memories, embellished stories, and make-believe musings serve as inspiration for her artwork. In her multimedia installations, the viewer becomes immersed in the art that explodes with color and texture. Puppets, toys, and larger-than-life-sized interactive art tell a narrative of revealing stories about the artist’s life. In her eccentric and wildly wonderful lineage, she finds the joy in the resistance, resilience and perseverance of being Jewish.
See her exhibition, I Think My Uncle Gershun Was a Golem, June 17 through August 28 at the Weston Art Gallery and join our Gallery Talk with the artist on Thursday, July 7 at 7pm.
