Pride Night 2024

A celebration of LGBTQIA+ visibility and artistry featuring an “Opera is a Drag” retelling of La Traviata presented by Cincinnati Opera Young Professionals (COYP).

A celebration of LGBTQIA+ visibility and artistry featuring an “Opera is a Drag” retelling of La Traviata presented by Cincinnati Opera Young Professionals (COYP).
Following the performance of Verdi’s heartbreaking romance La Traviata, we’re transforming Wilks Studio at Music Hall into Flora’s Nightclub—think electric glow dance party, inspired by the fabulous Flora, Violetta’s friend and Parisian party-hound from La Traviata. Enjoy nibbles, festive drinks, and dance beats—plus, Cincinnati Opera Young Professionals present an Opera is a Drag moment with a fun, irreverent send-up of La Traviata featuring Molly Mormen as your host, Flora—along with some of our region’s favorite drag artists. Make a full night of it with tickets to Verdi’s La Traviata (included with sponsorships; hosts receive 20% off performance tickets) and see the show that made Julia Roberts cry in Pretty Woman! Or buy a Pride Night attendee ticket and join us for the party starting at 10:30 p.m.

This year, in our continuing efforts to support the community and bring visibility to LGBTQIA+ issues, we are partnering with Caracole, an AIDS service organization that provides comprehensive HIV prevention, housing, and case management services. Half of all donations made towards this event will go to support Caracole in their mission to positively change lives in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
