Artist Info

Joey Hyde grew up listening to his dad’s record collection in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was influenced by bands such as Led Zepplin, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd. The songs of Merle Haggard and Tom Petty later inspired him to write songs. In 2006, he came to Nashville to start college at Belmont, but spent most of his time playing honkytonks. It wasn’t long before he hit the road playing guitar across the country for a few artists including Broken Bow Records’ James Wesley. In 2019, Joey Hyde scored his first hit with “Made For You,” cowritten with songwriters Benjy Davis and Neil Medley, and recorded by Jake Owen. Hyde’s credits include the new single by Walker Montgomery and recordings by Luke Dick, Sam Grow, Lindsay Ell, and Ryan Hurd. In 2021, Joey was nominated for MusicRow Award for Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year and was listed as MusicRow’s Top 100 Songwriters of 2021.

Ryan Beaver is a country singer/songwriter signed to SMACKSongs. The Texas native moved to Nashville in 2013 to continue pursuing his songwriting and artist career. His latest album, Rx, was critically acclaimed for its “visceral emotional work” (NPR) and Beaver has been heralded as an “Artist You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone. He has written songs for artists such as Blake Shelton (“Body Language”), Ryan Hurd (“Platonic”), Steve Moakler (“Breaking New Ground”), HARDY (“4X4”), Larry Fleet (“Mix ‘Em With Whiskey”), Jill Andrews (“Gimme the Beat Back”), Ashley Monroe (“Mother’s Daughter”), and more. He co-wrote “Settle Me Down” by Josh Abbott Band, which went No. 1 at Texas Radio. Beaver also co-wrote “Rhinestoned” by Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen and “Heaven’s Jukebox” by Jaden Hamilton, which have both reached Top 20 at Texas Radio. In addition, he co-wrote Dustin Lynch’s current radio single “Party Mode” and has recent releases with artists such as Ryan Hurd, Alana Springsteen, Catie Offerman and more.

Emily Shackelton is a songwriter from Biwabik, Minnesota. After studying at Berklee College of Music, where she won the coveted BMI John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Emily moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting. Her catalog includes cuts by Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Jana Kramer, David Cook, Seth Ennis, Mickey Guyton, and Cassadee Pope. She has had several songs featured on TV shows like American Idol and ABC’s Nashville, including Love Like Mine, sung by Hayden Panettiere and featured on the gold-selling season one soundtrack. Most recently she celebrated her first Number 1 with the Carly Pearce breakout single “Every Little Thing.” She recently signed a new co-venture with Liz Rose Music, busbee, and BMG.

Brinley Addington is a country singer/songwriter who discovered his passion for music while on a family trip to Nashville. Early influences included 90’s and traditional country music, which led him to move to Nashville in 2008 to study at Belmont University. After performing in legendary honky tonks on lower Broadway, he toured the country opening for Florida-Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Chris Young, Jon Pardi, Marty Stuart, Ronnie Milsap, and more. The Grammy and CMA nominated song “Chasing After You” was Addington’s first #1 song as a songwriter in 2021 and he was named Spotify’s Hot Country Standout Songwriter of the Year. Among his many collaborations are Parmalee, Tyler Farr, Kameron Marlowe, Kevin Fowler, and Kyle Park. Many of Addington’s own recordings are available now on major digital platforms
