Celebrate hip hop, culture and tradition with a purpose. This year Elementz has opened up tickets sales for their annual “Urban Derby” on Derby Day, of course. Come enjoy live entertainment, fashion, food, and fun while supporting Elementz.
The Notorious Urban Derby is a fundraiser for the hip hop arts organization, Elementz, which provides a safe and creative space youth. The proceeds from this year Urban Derby event will support scholarships for Elementz Creative Futures program, which exposes youth to creative career opportunities, and helps identify the path to those professions. Last year, Elementz not only continued to serve more than 700 youth, and saw 98% graduation rate, we have seen 20+ community youth go on to college. So please join us on May 4th at Union Hall where you’ll enjoy live entertainment from Elementz members, fashion, food and fun of the Kentucky Derby with an urban twist, hosted by Kyle Inskeep from Channel 12 News.
