The April 19th PREVIEW CONCERT will feature the moving Durufle Requiem and other selections Viva Voices will perform at the International Choral Festival in Paris. The concert commemorates the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Viva Voices is the only Tri-State group invited to sing at the International Choral Festival in Paris this summer. The event, led by Dr. Craig Jessop, former conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be a dramatic concert commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day in song. According to Tony Burdette, Viva Voices Artistic Director, their singers will then travel to the French coast to give their own tribute to our fallen soldiers at the American Cemetery in Normandy.
This Preview Concert will be at 7:30 PM on April 19th at the Sycamore Presbyterian Church, 11800 Mason-Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, 45249. For tickets and more information go to: www.vivavoices.net/performances. (Tickets also available at the door.)
