Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Due to the current public health conditions and on the advice of the City of Hamilton Health Commissioner, the Fitton Center for Creative Arts will be following the protocols outlined below: Masks If you are an adult or youth over the age of 12 who has been vaccinated, masks are optional (unless you are in a space with children.) If you are an adult or youth over the age of 12 who has not been vaccinated, masks are strongly suggested though vaccination status will not be checked. Masks are mandatory for all areas with children. If you are 11 or younger a mask is required at all times while in the building. Social Distancing Social distancing will not be strictly enforced during classes and workshops but we do ask all students to be mindful of one another's personal space. Parents may resume waiting in the lobby during classes (if desired.) We have had outstanding support and advice from the City Health Department throughout the pandemic, which has allowed us to provide summer camps, classes, exhibitions & performances, both inside and outside through the past 2 years. We continue to take their direction in all matters of public health, both in service of our community and to ensure that the Fitton Center is able to fully open for performances and events, later this year. We please ask for your support and assistance in this matter, and we will continue to update the public and our partners regularly as we look to move forward in a positive way.
