Experimental film accompanied by improvised cello and rapturous spoken word
Part of the 2022 Cincinnati Fringe Festival!
From FLEX YOUR LOVE MUSCLES STUDIOS (SHELTON/BARTON/LA CHARITY) of Dayton, KY
A multi-disciplinary meditation on nature, isolation and inspiration combining experimental films by Matthew Shelton, improvised cello soundscapes by Nora Barton, and spontaneous poetry recitations by Ralph LaCharity. The performance travels through the forests of Kentucky into abstract modern world imagery, buoyed by ambient cello, mbira, and free flowing, jazz-like poetry.
