Explore the things that nourish and nurture us, and what it means to “Water our Souls.”
…there is no mistaking that everything you are was intended. The night loves all of the moon and her many phases. ~Courtney Peppernell, Watering the Soul
During this week together, we will explore the things than nourish and nurture us. Using Women Writing practices, we will explore what it means to Water our Souls for each of us. We will come away with tools and practices that support us in our everyday lives.
Each day will offer quiet space to dream and write. We will share our writing in small and large groups. Our focus is on writing but each day will include craft projects and other nourishing activities.
All summer camps use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen young people’s authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in the own creative intelligence.
