2nd Friday Celebration of the Arts

Celebrate a new month of the fine and performing arts. Enjoy the artistic works of Claire Farrow, Griffin Wayne, and Marie Moeller as part of the Miami Undergraduate Exhibition.

At 7:30PM that evening, Blues—Yours, Mine and Ours with Heavy Juice Chicago Blues Band and Jimmy D. Rogers will take the OCAC stage. Songwriters David Burk and Jimmy D. Rogers have mined the great blues traditions to create original blues with echoes of Chicago, Memphis and the Mississippi Delta. But their music remains deeply rooted in the life force of their home right here in Southwestern Ohio. It’s a three-part buffet of blues: original, house-shaking songs from Jimmy D. Rogers, then original Chicago-tinged songs from the pen of David Burk with his hardworking quartet Heavy Juice, then Jimmy joins forces with Heavy Juice for a can’t-keep-your-seat tour through roadhouse blues history!

Meet the Resident Artists in their 3rd Floor studio spaces to learn more about their work. The Art Shop will also be open that evening! We can’t wait to celebrate the arts with you!
