“Agidigbo” a gathering/inclusion of Young Professionals that seeks to foster positive interactions , meetings, with fun cultural activities such as , African drumming, dancing, cooking, play reading and networking amongst young adults.
Agidigbo” a gathering/inclusion of Young Professionals that seeks to foster positive interactions, meetings, with fun cultural activities such as , African drumming, dancing, cooking, play reading and networking amongst young adults. This program is sponsored by ArtsWave and supported by the Department of Africana Studies.
There will be free transportation. Meet up is at the African American Cultural Resource Center, it will depart UC main campus at 12:30 pm on February 10. Return to campus around 6 pm. Lunch is provided at no cost.
12:30-12:55 p.m. Arrive at the front of the African American Cultural Resources Center and board the bus.
1:00-1:25 p.m. Drive over to Bi-Okoto/
1:30-1:45 p.m. Get settled in and take a tour of Bi-Okoto
1:50-2:20 p.m. Lunch (African dish tasting) (Jollof Rice)
2:30-3:15 p.m. First Session: Learning Dancing
3:15-4:00 p.m. Second Session: Learn how to cook African Dishes/snacks (Puff, puff)
4:00-4:45 p.m. Third Session: Learn Drums
5:00-5:45 p.m. Showcase
5:45-6:00 p.m. Closing Remarks/ Board the Bus/Headcount
