Middletown Arts Center presents the Annual Area Art Exhibition. This juried competition is open to adult artists working in 2D & 3D media. See the best work from artists within a 50 mile radius of Middletown.
Our gallery took in more entries this year than ever before- making this the most competitive Area Art Exhibition in our 64-year history. We are delighted to share with you a selection of the best artwork from artists residing and creating in our surrounding area.
Friday, Nov. 12th from 6-8pm is the official Preview Event for this year’s Area Art Exhibition. This is where awards will be displayed for the very first time, and sure to be a delightful experience with many of the exhibiting artists attending. Mingle with the creators and art enthusiasts that live in your fun, creative corner of the world.
The Area Art Exhibition will be displayed through Jan. 13th, 2022 in our Main Exhibition Hall during our regular business hours. These hours can be found on our Facebook page or at the bottom of our website: www.middletownartscenter.com

Entry to the exhibit is free of charge, although donations are optional since we are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that depends upon the support of our community and business partners to provide vital arts education and enrichment to our region.
We also will be exhibiting works by Marcia Waller, our 2020 President’s Award Winner of the Annual Area Art Exhibition, in our lobby gallery
The Area Art Exhibition is presented by Patti Gage in memory and honor of George Robert Gage.
