Arts@ARCO March: Women & Femme-Identifying
Arts@ARCO is Price Hill’s FREE monthly art event focused on a culturally significant topic, this month being women and femme-identifying artists. Join us from 1-4pm on March 20th at ARCO for a day of music, art-making, and featured visual art.
Join us at ARCO on March 20th in honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. We have set aside this time to recognize and empower the essential role of women and femme- identifying individuals in political leadership, social justice, environmental justice, artistic expression, and all corners of culture throughout past and current contexts.
This free, family-friendly community event will consist of hands-on creative activities alongside professional local artists. You don’t want to miss the unique performances of musicians including Rachel Mousie in our third-floor theater space. Step outside the theater to check out the work of our featured artist Veen Bristow in the Iris Gallery. Meet Veen in Shawnee Theater where she will be demonstrating live drawing. Materials will also be available for you and your family to practice your own drawing skills! Need a space to relax and reflect? Hop up to the second floor to find educational and creative materials provided by the public library.
