Ballet 2 Dance Class

Ballet II builds on the basic techniques taught in Ballet I and gradually moves the students into a traditional ballet class format of barre followed by center exercises. Students will gradually learn how to ‘turn-out’ so that their muscles develop correctly. Moving in time to the music and learning classical ballet terminology is continued at this level. (75 min. class) Children’s Ballet Classes: Girls-need to wear a leotard (preferably pink or black, but not mandatory), light pink tights, and light pink ballet slippers (could be leather or fabric, and make sure they fit properly – not big!). No skirts. Boys– need to wear a white t-shirt, black tights, sweats or shorts, and black or white leather or fabric ballet shoes.
