Beginning Acting I (Intro to Acting for the Stage)

Through a series of games, exercises, and discussions, students will be introduced to the world of acting with an emphasis on acting for the stage (live theatre).

This class is geared toward people who have little to no experience with acting. Through a series of games, exercises, and discussions, students will be introduced to the world of acting with an emphasis on acting for the stage (live theatre). Whether your goal is to one day audition for a role in a play, or if you’re just looking to gain confidence in public speaking and everyday life,  this class will be your first step. As you study acting, you will find that it will actually help you learn new things about yourself.  The goal of the class is to leave students with a fun, memorable experience that will broaden their horizons.  Class meets every Saturday January 9 thru March 12.
