Create a joyful atmosphere to bring people together and welcome the Year of the Rabbit, and hope everyone’s success grows by leaps and bounds in 2023.
Lunar New Year celebrations mark the beginning of spring, with all the color and festive moods of the season of rebirth. That joy, celebrated for centuries in Asia, shines through the programs and activities designed for people of all ages. The celebration is composed of two parts:
1) PRE-CONCERT. Create a joyful atmosphere to bring people together through the power of arts, welcome the Year of the Rabbit with a vibrant event that draws upon Chinese cultural traditions past and present, and honor family traditions. The performance and activities include Chinese and Asian folk dances and music, calligraphy, paper cut, cultural exhibits & booths, and festive decoration in Music Hall Lobby, organized by Alliance of Chinese Culture & Arts USA (ACCA).
2) CONCERT. Starts at 7:30pm, performed by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. CSO Music Director Louis Langrée leads works inspired by a fusion of cultures. Qigang Chen and Grammy-nominated Chinese-American composer Zhou Tian discover new sounds through the combination of Eastern and Western styles and more.

PARKING INFO
Several parking options surround Music Hall. A 450-space underground garage at Washington Park is located directly across Elm Street from the front doors of venue. This convenient garage also has handicapped parking and elevators. A surface lot between Music Hall and Memorial Hall is accessible from Elm Street and Central Parkway. Convenient parking is also available at the Town Center Parking (CET) Garage on Central Parkway. Pay-on-entry parking is $10-$15 for special events at all nearby lots. Handicapped-Accessible Parking: There are several handicap-designated spots at the Washington Park Garage across the street from Music Hall, as well as at the surface lot located between Music Hall and Memorial Hall and in the Town Center (CET) Garage on Central Parkway. We recommend arriving early for the best parking. You may also drop off patrons in front of Music Hall on Elm Street and then park. If you require wheelchair assistance, please alert a security officer and they will contact a staff member to bring a wheelchair out to the curb and assist you to your seats.
