The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra returns to an industrial warehouse for an all Antonin Dvorak program featuring local cellist prodigy, Miriam K. Smith.
Join the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra for two war horses in a warehouse Saturday night March 6 in- person or via livesteam. The program includes two works of Antonin Dvorak. His Seventh Symphony opens the program followed by his famous Cello Concerto performed by local prodigy —14-year old Miriam K. Smith. Miriam has been featured with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra and other orchestras throughout the country.
Even in a pandemic, the beauty of music, with its transcendent consoling and uplifting qualities, generates the power to bring our community together. Verst Group Logistics in has graciously opened their doors to make room for the KSO to use its 60,000 sq ft. heated industrial warehouse for live, in-person concerts.
