This class is an introduction to the techniques, materials, vocabulary, and overall practice of observational drawing in color. Students will have the opportunity to begin exploring independent projects with a lot of individual mentoring.
In light of the current surge of COVID-19 cases in our region and in an effort to protect the health and safety of our community, Kennedy Heights Arts Center has decided to delay the start of upcoming classes by two weeks.

This class is an introduction to the techniques, materials, vocabulary, and overall practice of observational drawing in color. Students will have the opportunity to begin exploring independent projects with a lot of individual mentoring. Beginners will draw from life, learning proportional techniques, perspective, shading and value, and the tools and confidence to draw independently. More experienced students will get valuable practice, learn tools to develop their abilities, and explore different media and techniques. This class is ideal for the ambitious beginner, or the more experienced artist looking to take his or her craft to the next level!
Ages 13 – Adult. Instructor: Paul Loehle.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another course if the student withdraws at least five days prior to the beginning of the course.
