Emil Robinson
Please join us for an informal and informative Gallery Talk with exhibiting artist Emil Robinson.
Join us Thursday, February 2 at 7 p.m. for a conversation with Emil Robinson.
Emil Robinson’s (Cincinnati, OH) paintings meticulously render his immediate environment while casting doubt on the primacy of physical reality by emphasizing ephemeral concerns like light, color, and semiotic playfulness. Conversely, his sculptures propose new durable forms built from specific details of memories. In all the artist’s works, simple formal decisions emit a spiritual energy. The exhibition runs from January 21 – March 5, 2023.
The Weston’s annual Gallery Talk Series of public lectures and informal talks provides a rare opportunity for the public to meet the presenting artists and enjoy the ensuing dialogue. Every Gallery Talk provides a unique insight into the passion, curiosity, materials, and creative process of each artist and their discipline. All talks are FREE and open to the public. Refreshments are provided.
