A world premiere dark comedy at the crossroads of America and Americana.
In sleepy West Virginia, a love triangle of National Park rangers train to present living history docent material about John Brown’s ill-fated raid on Harpers Ferry one hundred sixty years after the event while a reality tv documentary crew looks on. When race and politics enter the equation, will history repeat itself?
This world premiere by Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin has previously had a workshop reading at the Alliance in Atlanta, and will be staged for the first time for Cincinnati audiences.
Harpers Ferry 2019 will be performed live onstage at the Know and also will be available digitally as video-on-demand.

On Wednesdays, as part of our Welcome Experiment, walk-up tickets are free beginning an hour before the performance.
