Join the Cincinnati Art Club for a Plein Air Adventure where we’ll explore natural scenery in light and shade to unleash your creativity!
Calling all landscape lovers! Get ready for the outdoor painting season with this plein air warm-up that will awaken your artistic spirit. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone who wants to get started with painting out in nature. If the weather is not suited for outside painting the CAC Clubhouse will be available, and photos (yours or Marlene’s) will be used. Also, the Club has a side deck with views of the river and early spring. Marlene will discuss the best practices and equipment for plein air painting, picking a good location, preliminary sketches, transporting wet canvases, natural occurrences, creature comforts, and a lot more.
