Taft Museum of Art: Create a Bracelet

Design your own fashion accessory with the Taft! A local jewelry artist will be on hand to help you create your bracelet.

Cincinnati Kung Fu: Chinese Kung Fu Demonstration
2:15 PM – 2:45 PM

Cincinnati Kung Fu will demonstrate a variety of Chinese Martial Arts including animal and weapons forms and board breaking. They will also provide a free introduction to martial arts by teaching audience members some basic martial arts’ techniques.

Peraza Music Workshop: Music From Around the World

Families are invited to experience music from around the world. From Classical to Fiddle music! The Peraza Music Workshop Ensemble will delight their audience before their debut at Carnegie Hall!

Bi-Okoto: Movement and Music Workshop

Bi-Okoto Drum and Dance members takes the audience on an interactive journey from the USA to West Africa’s Nigeria and Ghana, to share the richness of the culture, through a wide range of dance dialects and styles with joy, high spirits and excitement. The Movement and Music workshop enhances your thinking and physical fitness.

NKU Youth Symphony Orchestra
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The NKU Youth Symphony Orchestra presents a family friendly concert that would feature full-orchestra favorites! The YSO will also present the instruments of the orchestra, instrument families, and how they fit together to make the orchestra.

Drums and shakers and bells, oh my! We will be drumming up a ton of fun in this exciting, up-beat, hands-on class. Learn to make and play your own musical instrument! Jump, run and move to the rhythms you create. Discover some cool Spanish words through songs and games. Together, we will be exploring and developing timing, coordination, listening, creativity, and teamwork – but above all, we will be having FUN!

Anaya Belly Dance

Anaya Belly Dance is a fusion belly dance company from Cincinnati, OH. They blend many dance, theatre, and music styles with old world belly dance to create a fun and eclectic performance that is both innovative and traditional. Join them on their cultural adventure and learn how you can bring out your inner belly dancer.

MamLuft&Co. Dance
3:15 PM – 4:15 PM

MamLuft&Co. Dance will first present a fun, energetic 30-minute lecture-demonstration that teaches audience members about different aspects of Modern Dance. ML&Co. will then invite audience members to participate in a 30-minute Modern Dance lesson in which they will have the opportunity to try out various elements of Modern Dance in a welcoming, encouraging environment!
