Artist Mike Davis kicks off our 2024 Westheimer Gallery exhibit season with his solo show “Along the Way!”
It’s time to celebrate the beginning of another year of fantastic local art at the Westheimer Gallery! First up in our 2024 season is painter Mike Davis with his solo exhibition, Along the Way.
Join us from 5:30 – 7:30PM on Friday February 2 for our FIRST FRIDAY opening reception.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments and view the show with an opportunity to meet the Artist! The SCAC and Westheimer Gallery are a proud participant in the downtown loop DORA program. First Friday events and the Westheimer Gallery are free and open to the public.

From the Artist:
“Hello, my name is Mike Davis and I am a painter based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I graduated with a degree from the University of Cincinnati where I studied with Phil Foster and Robert Fabe. I am married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. My wife and I love to travel, and it’s not uncommon for me to paint scenes from wherever we visit. I am particularly influenced by the Midwest. Painting landscapes and cityscapes have always been my passion. I love to experiment with different mediums and styles, but the majority of my work is acrylic on canvas. I do consider myself a representational artist, but I am most influenced by painters such as Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth. All of my work can be viewed on my Instagram account @mikedavisart.”

PARKING: Parking is available in the SCAC lot at the corner of Reading Rd and Walnut St, on our building's south side. Additional free public parking is available in City of Sharonville lots, located around the corner on Walnut behind Cliff Hardware, as well as behind PNC Bank at Reading Rd and Creek Rd.
DIRECTIONS: From I-275: Take exit 46 to Lebanon Rd (US-42). Head south on US 42. Stay to the right on Reading Road. Turn right at Walnut Street.
From I-75: Take exit 15 to head east on Sharon Road. Follow to the left onto Main Street (one-way). Turn left on Walnut Street.
