NISE's Drag Bingo
Cincinnati Pride Parade and Festival Returns In-Person!
Northern Kentucky Inclusive Students in Education (NISE), a local non-profit educational initiative specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for College and Career Readiness, is thrilled to announce their 2nd annual Drag Bingo Night fundraiser on June 9, 2023, at 6 pm
The event, which is open to the public ages 21+, will be held at the Tower Park Mess Hall in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. Tickets should be purchased beforehand, online at: bit.ly/NISEDragBingo2023
This year’s drag bingo will feature some of Cincinnati’s most popular drag queens including Molly Mormen and PH Dee, along with last year’s event host, Phyllis Stein (aka Ron Padgett)!
Ticket profits and donations from the event will benefit NISE’s capital campaign to find permanent meeting and office space.
Padgett, a local realtor said, “recent events – both locally and nationally – show it is imperative to support organizations like NISE, whose mission is ‘to engage and develop learners as empathic and critical thinkers who collaborate and lead in a global community.’”
In addition to securing a formal meeting and office space, the event supports NISE’s goals which include the development of critical thinking, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and the ability to apply and utilize these tools in diverse academic and non-academic situations.
Additionally, NISE lives by its core values of Civic Engagement, Solidarity, and Collaboration and currently serves students from Northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati in grades 10-12 with their Student Advocacy Program. New adult programming will be coming soon.
