Join us for poetry readings of “For a Better World” (2023)
“For a Better World”, a yearly publication of poems and drawings on Peace and Justice by Greater Cincinnati Artists, now in its 20th year, is the product of SOS (Save Our Souls) ART, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote the Arts as Vehicles for Peace and Justice.
The poems and original drawings of the annual anthology “For a Better World” (2023), book of poems and drawings on peace and justice by Greater Cincinnati Artists, now in its 20th year, will be exhibited from July 5 to 22 at the Annex Gallery, downtown Cincinnati.
Poems by 76 Greater Cincinnati poets paired with illustrative drawings by 34 Greater Cincinnati visual artists, will be on display. They represent a community view on social justice issues as voiced by our local poets and artists.
On Saturday July 22 from 1 to 4pm, there will be poetry readings by poets from the book.
